Roberta Nestor specializes in retirement planning, income planning, and the coordination of investments with your taxes. Christina Nestor specializes in educating new clients and guiding them through their first investment experience, which can happen at any age or stage in life. Christina intends to work closely with existing clients to ensure each client receives exceptional service while building her client base. She aims to educate new investors and assist them with opening retirement accounts, 529 education savings plans, and non-retirement accounts—whatever the client needs to achieve their specific financial goals. She also helps with creating detailed retirement income planners, 401(k) rollovers, and estate planning.

Roberta is an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®. She is the Director of Asset Management for Nestor Financial Network. Her impressive resume outlines a wealth of experience in multiple facets of the financial industry. This affords Roberta a unique perspective and level of expertise that inspires confidence and ensures success.

Roberta started her career with John Hancock Life Insurance in 1982. Registering with Commonwealth in 1984 enabled her to provide diverse guidance to her clients to benefit from her business acumen. Before founding the National Tax-Sheltered Annuity Association (NTSSA), Roberta was Vice President for Polaris Financial Services Inc. from 1990 to 1993. The NTSAA was a nonprofit organization supporting advisors who provided their services to public schools, hospitals, colleges, and other nonprofit institutions.

Roberta's passion for giving back to the community is reflected by her involvement in charities and foundations both locally and abroad. She hosts numerous free financial seminars every year to provide access to industry leaders and to champion the importance of financial literacy for clients and their families. She is also an active member of the Milford Chamber of Commerce.

Since 2005, Roberta has also maintained a newspaper column, “Dollars and Sense,” offering readers sound financial insight based on the economic climate and events at the time. Her column is published in the Orange Town News and Woodbridge Town News.

Roberta’s financial credentials include FINRA Series 6, 26, 51, 63, and 65 securities registrations.

Christina is an Investment Advisor Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network.® She graduated from the University of Tampa Magna Cum Laude in 2016, majoring in history.

In the Fall of 2016, Christina was accepted into the JET Programme, working in Aizu-Wakamatsu, Japan as an assistant language teacher. In 2018, she moved to Australia with her husband, John, working for Vivability, providing at-home care to people with disabilities in the community.

After returning home to Connecticut in 2019, Christina started as an administrative assistant with NFN. She has since completed her Series 65, 63, 6, and 7 securities exams to become a financial advisor. Christina intends to work closely with our existing clients to ensure each client receives exceptional service while growing her client base. She's passionate about educating and guiding new investors as they save for their future.

Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP's consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP's consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client's experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients.
